Senior FP&A Manager Aberdeen Hybrid - c.3 Days in the Office £100,000 + Bonus

We're partnering with an established international services business with operations spanning multiple continents and ambitious plans to grow significantly over the coming years.
There's a huge amount happening across the business. They're expanding organically, operating in markets seeing significant investment and continuing to develop how finance supports an increasingly complex international organisation.
As part of that journey, they're creating a brand-new Senior FP&A Manager position.
This isn't a role where everything is already perfect and you're simply being brought in to run an established process.
There is loads to build, improve and shape.
They want someone who can help take FP&A to the next level - improving the foundations, creating consistency across a global business and ultimately helping the function become a much more proactive, forward-looking commercial partner.

The OpportunityReporting into the Head of FP&A, you'll join a lean global FP&A team with significant exposure across the organisation.
The first 3-6 months will be about getting under the skin of the business.
Understanding the data. Understanding how different regions report. Improving master data. Creating greater consistency. Simplifying reporting. Getting the right structures in place.
Once those foundations are established, the role will increasingly move towards commercial FP&A and business partnering, with the expectation that around 75% of the position ultimately becomes focused on partnering with the business.
You'll:- Help shape and develop FP&A across a complex international business
- Lead elements of budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-range planning
- Improve forecast accuracy and introduce more forward-looking performance management
- Standardise management reporting across multiple regions and business lines
- Build meaningful financial and operational KPIs
- Develop reporting and dashboards that focus attention on the things that actually matter
- Partner with senior operational and functional leaders
- Turn complex financial and operational data into clear commercial insight
- Identify risks, opportunities and areas for performance improvement
Challenge assumptions and influence better commercial decisions - Improve master data, reporting structures and data quality
- Get involved with systems development, implementation and improvement
- Simplify and standardise processes across the global finance function
- Identify sensible opportunities for automation
- Work closely with regional finance teams, Group Finance and Shared Services
- Support five-year planning alongside the Board and shareholders
- Manage and develop one direct report

International experience is really important.
You don't need to have lived overseas, and we're not fixated on a particular industry.
You do, however, need to understand the complexity that comes with working inside a large, international and multi-layered organisation.
Different regions. Different business lines. Different finance teams. Shared Services. Multiple stakeholders. Different ways of doing things.
You need to be comfortable joining that environment, understanding where the genuine issues are and knowing what actually needs fixing.
The business moves quickly, with a high volume of activity and priorities that can change daily, weekly and monthly.
