The RoleThis is a delivery-focused role. We are looking for someone who can join the team and make an immediate impact with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of a significant caseload and progress applications through to determination at pace whilst maintaining robust decision making.
The caseload is likely to include:
- Householder applications
- Minor applications
- Rural and agricultural applications
- Small to medium-scale residential developments
- Applications generally ranging up to approximately 30 dwellings
- Pre-application enquiries
- Appeals and associated casework where required
- Committee reports where required
We are looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable managing a high caseload
- Can work independently with minimal support
- Has strong report-writing skills
- Can make clear, balanced planning recommendations
- Has recent experience determining applications rather than managing teams
- Is motivated by delivery and throughput
- Experience using Uniform / IDOX is essential.
