Grampian Adult Weight Management and Diabetes Prevention, Operational Lead Dietitian
18.5 Hours
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate skills in leadership, service redesign and transformation, work in partnership with others, has a patient focused approach and a genuine desire to work in adult weight management and diabetes prevention.
If that’s you, then come and join our Community Dietetic Team in Grampian where you will work jointly with our current dietetic lead for AWM services to provide strategic and operational leadership to the recently redesigned adult weight management and diabetes pathways.
You will be part of a team of dietitians currently delivering the pathway but will also work as part of the wider health and social care teams to deliver services across the three Grampian partnerships and link with acute services where necessary. You will hold a small clinical caseload with interventions delivered as part of an MDT with psychology colleagues.
This post is suitable for a hybrid model of working with options for both remote and office based working. It is an ideal opportunity for candidates wishing to develop and progress their career and professional practice in a department that recognises the value of ongoing CPD, robust clinical supervision and exposure to a variety of development opportunities.
We participate in undergraduate student training, taking students for their B & C placement. We work with dietetic colleagues across Grampian on shared issues and initiatives such as clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient centredness. Delivery of a high quality dietetic service is high on our agenda.
You must be a car driver, hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car as some travelling across Grampian might be required. You will be required to work 5 of 7 days which may include weekend working as required.
