Job Title:
Home Carer / Care Assistant
Location:
[Shoreham by Sea , Lancing , Worthing, East Preston , Angmering and Littlehampton and surrounding areas in West Sussex]
Reports to:Care Coordinator / Registered Manager
Contract Type:[Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Permanent]
Salary:[from 12.21 per hour to 24.42, Live in £700 per week]
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Home Carer assists with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship in accordance with each person’s care plan.
Key Responsibilities- Assist service users with
personal care
tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Support with
meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
, ensuring dietary needs are met. - Provide
medication support
in line with care plans and company policies. - Help with
mobility and transfers
, including the safe use of mobility aids and equipment. - Carry out
domestic tasks
such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping where required. - Offer
companionship and emotional support
, promoting mental well-being. - Assist with
appointments, social activities
, and community engagement. - Observe and report any changes in the service user’s health or circumstances to the supervisor or care coordinator.

- Previous experience in a caring role (formal or informal)
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Right to work in the UK
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Up-to-date training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration
