We are currently hiring qualified midwives to join the Women and Children’s Hospital at Hull Royal Infirmary – part of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK.

As a Band 5 Midwife, you will work in a vibrant maternity service that supports over 5,000 births annually, providing personalised and compassionate care to women and babies across all levels of pregnancy — from low-risk deliveries to complex fetal and neonatal cases.

As a Band 5 Midwife, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting women throughout pregnancy, labour, and postnatal care (up to 10 days postpartum)
• Delivering compassionate and safe care in both midwife-led and consultant-led environments
• Working within multidisciplinary teams to handle complex and high-risk pregnancies
• Promoting safe birthing practices and early bonding
• Contributing to a positive, family-centred maternity experience

• BSc. in Midwifery or Midwifery Certification
• Valid Nursing/Midwifery License (e.g., from Nursing Council of Jamaica or equivalent)
• Minimum 12 Months Experience in acute care maternity settings
• CBT Completed (Preferred but not mandatory)
• IELTS/OET (Support for reimbursement provided)
