An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, ambitious Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) to join the Health and Social Care Practice Education and Development team within NHS Grampian covering Aberdeenshire on a permanent basis.
Working as an Associate Practice Educator, you will work in partnership with the existing team and be involved in supporting work-based learning for HCSWs across NHS Grampian. A key part of the role will be to support the co-ordination and delivery of an enhanced HCSW induction and clinical skills pathways.
The successful candidate will have:- extensive experience as a HCSW within in-patient and/or community settings
- have proven interest and experience in supporting education, training or professional development
- be educated to SCQF Level 7 or equivalent
- be familiar and able to use Power Point, Excel, Word, and TURAS Learn
The successful candidate will be supported to develop their facilitation, coaching and leadership skills. They will have professional supervision and access to a wide network of practice educators, including other Associate Practice Educators within NHS Grampian.
Please note that this role supports teams within North and Central Aberdeenshire. Travel across Aberdeenshire is an essential part of the role therefore please do not apply if you do not hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.
