Locum Phlebotomy Staff – Aberdeen, UK – £18 per hour (Monday to Friday), £21 per hour on Saturdays (although no Saturday shifts are planned at present), and £24 per hour on Sundays, where shifts are available. This ongoing full-time opportunity is perfect for those ready to start on 6th July. Get ready to embark on a fantastic adventure with Our Future Health, supporting their mobile units in Aberdeen South and beyond.

Joining this role means being part of an exciting journey as you work across different locations including Aberdeen North, Straiton, Inverness, and Dundee. Whether you’re an experienced Phlebotomy Staff member or a Healthcare Assistant adept at venepuncture and cannulation, this locum position offers both challenge and variety. Don’t forget, you’ll need to provide current venepuncture and blood drawing competencies certificates for submission.

What you will do:
  • – Perform routine and non-routine phlebotomy tasks across various mobile sites efficiently and accurately.
  • – Ensure safe and effective collection of blood samples from volunteers, adhering to all relevant healthcare standards.
  • – Maintain all necessary documentation and prepare reports as required.
  • – Collaborate with the existing team to optimise service delivery and volunteer satisfaction.
  • – Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • – Assist in managing equipment and supplies necessary for mobile unit operations.
