We have an opportunity available in the Banff and Fraserburgh Cluster
Banff area:
Macduff & An Coarann (Portsoy) GP practices and Chalmers Community Hospital
Fraserburgh area:
Saltoun & Finlayson Street GP practices and Fraserburgh Community Hospital
Full time 36h/week (part-time may be considered, min 21.6h/week)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technician to join the Banff & Fraserburgh cluster pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services to GP practices and community hospitals within the areas.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well within a team, under direction and on their own initiative. Through on the job support and training successful candidates will gain experience to allow them to undertake a wide range of tasks to support seamless care such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries including management of shortage and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or already be working within GP Practice as a pharmacy technician. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
Postholders will work across a wide area – this will involve onsite working in GP Practices. We encourage prospective candidates to make contact prior to applying to discuss location options.
