This role will support the development and delivery of health improvement programmes which reduce health inequalities across Grampian.

The appointee will champion health equity by working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and communities to ensure equitable access to services and interventions. With a focus on community-led approaches, this role involves assessing health needs, applying evidence-based practice, and ensuring lived experience informs decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to testing and evaluating new ways of involving people, building lasting relationships, and strengthening and expanding a network of community champions.

This post is part of the Putting People First programme - NHS Grampian’s new approach to how we listen to and involve people. This post has been funded through the generous donations made to NHS Grampian Charity, the official charity of the health board.
