Due to an upcoming secondment, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our established and supportive Acute Adult SLT Team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

As part of our rotational programme, you will work with adults who present with a range of acquired speech, language, communication, and eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. The role offers excellent opportunities to develop skills and experience within a busy acute hospital setting.

You will bring a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and experience in adult acute care, alongside a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred practice. You will work within a small, friendly team and be supported by a Clinical Lead SLT, with excellent opportunities for collaborative working, service development, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is a large teaching hospital, and our SLT service provides care across a wide range of acute pathways. Shared values around rehabilitation, recovery, collaborative practice and continuous improvement are central to our team culture.
