A vacancy within the Aberdeen City Childsmile team has arisen, for a 3 day/week, year round post. You will join the existing team as a Band 3 dental health support worker. Childsmile is the Scottish oral health Programme for children & families, reducing inequalities in oral health. Our team work in communities across the City, engaging with children and families, to pass on the key messages around improving oral health, and offer practical support to families.
Candidates should be motivated, have strong people and communication skills, being able to interact on all levels and be flexible. Team work is an important aspect of the post. The ability to work with children and without close supervision is essential as well as the successful candidate approaching their work in a methodical and highly organized manner.
