Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist looking to develop your skills within a dynamic acute hospital service?

We are seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly, experienced and supportive Acute Adult Speech and Language Therapy Team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This rotational post offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills across acute adult care, with a primary focus on acute medicine and acute stroke services.

Working within one of Scotland's largest teaching hospitals, you will support adults presenting with a wide range of acquired communication and swallowing difficulties, delivering high-quality, person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Whether you are looking to further develop your specialist clinical expertise or broaden your experience within acute services, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth.

• Assess and manage adults with acquired speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centred care and positive outcomes.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in service-wide learning, development and clinical governance activities.

We are looking for a clinician who:

• Is HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Has completed post-registration dysphagia training and has relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Is motivated to deliver high-quality care within a busy acute setting.
• Has a flexible and proactive approach to service delivery.
• Is committed to ongoing professional development and service improvement.

• Regular clinical supervision and peer support.
• Opportunities to work alongside specialist clinicians across a wide range of acute services.
• CPD and development opportunities.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available in certain circumstances to successful candidates. HCPC registration is mandatory.
