EGPhysiotherapy Clinical Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B4 health care support worker (HCSW) to join the physiotherapy community rehabilitation service within Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership. The post would be static part time position based at The Jubilee Hospital Huntly, however the post holder would have to demonstrate flexibility in being able to support other community physiotherapy bases in Aberdeenshire as service need required.

We are looking for a suitably experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy HCSW for this 21.6 hours per week post, worked ideally over 3-4 days per week, across the Upper Marr area. Based in Jubilee Hospital, Huntly, the post holder will be expected to undertake specific skilled support work to aid implementation and progression of rehabilitative interventions for patients in a variety of settings.

This may include supporting rehabilitation across hospital ward settings, in the community, out-patient departments and within group or class settings.

The post holder will have the opportunity to experience a varied caseload, which may include involvement in pulmonary rehabilitation classes. They will work alongside the other physiotherapists and HCSWs in the local and wider community rehabilitation team as well as close partnership working with the multidisciplinary team members. There will also be a requirement and expectation to work on their own at times.

The post holder may help with supervision of students when required and be expected to work well in a multi-disciplinary and multi – agency environment.

Holding a full UK driving license is required alongside having access to a vehicle for work purposes. Upper Marr is an extensive geographical area including Strathdon, Alford and Huntly areas.
