We want to actively increase the diversity of our workforce and have a fantastic opportunity for a new member of the team to join us, initially on a 12-month fixed term contract, with a specific focus on testing and trialling a Guaranteed Interview Scheme.
About the Role
Working remotely, we are looking for someone with experience of supporting a Guaranteed Interview Scheme to join us to move our inclusive recruitment practices forward. The successful candidate will also be a great communicator with an eye for detail and data, strong organisational skills and understanding of the impact that recruitment has on organisational success.
Working alongside a team of advisors, the focus will be on supporting managers with recruitment on roles evidenced as being underrepresented at the RSPB. At the end of the 12 months, this role will have demonstrated the benefits of offering a Guaranteed Interview Scheme, upskilled recruiting managers and the resourcing team to share best practice, built a clear process, and created guidance for future use of the scheme.
Key tasks will include:
- Providing expert guidance and support to recruiting managers on the practical application of the guaranteed interview scheme, while adhering to RSPB recruitment policies and procedures.
- Advising and supporting managers on appropriate selection methods for their roles.
- Supporting the improvement of inclusive recruitment tools and the implementation of new ways of working.
- Collecting and providing recruitment data and insights related to roles advertised under the scheme.
- Staying updated on relevant and cost-effective routes to market and new recruitment trends.
- Collaborating with your team to adapt ways of working as needed.
What you will have:
- Experience operating a guaranteed interview scheme for underrepresented groups.
- A sound understanding of the legal context of recruitment.
- Experience with direct recruitment methods, including websites and social media.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to work, sharing knowledge, and making iterative improvements.
- An effective communicator capable of collating and presenting data for resourcing decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
