A bit about the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute data migration activities across complex ERP transformation projects. The role involves designing migration strategies, managing data quality, and ensuring seamless transition of critical business data. You will work closely with functional teams, technical specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant migrations.

What we want from you

As a Data Migration Consultant, you will possess the following professional attributes:

• Proven experience in data migration across ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Strong understanding of data structures, integration, and transformation principles.
• Ability to design migration strategies and manage complex datasets.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills; able to operate independently.
• Experience in upstream oil & gas processes (maintenance, inventory, JV accounting) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in UK context.

It would be beneficial if you have:

• Exposure to SAP ECC and S/4
  
  HANA migrations.
• Knowledge of data migration tools (e.g., SAP BODS, LSMW, IDOCs) and integration scenarios.
• Interest in AI-driven data transformation and automation.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Design and implement data migration strategies and workpacks for ERP projects.
• Execute end-to-end migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to validate requirements and migrated data.
• Apply data quality, profiling, and cleansing techniques to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues independently.
• Document processes and adhere to best practices and governance standards.
