Must be able to demonstrate evidence of your skills in implementing and supporting Azure cloud environments including hybrid cloud/on-premises environments including identity

Must be able to demonstrate evidence of your skills in implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments including hybrid identity, Intune, MS Defender, Exchange, Teams and SharrePoint Online

Desirable to have certifications in either Azure or AWS cloud platforms

Experience working in consultancy is a bonus

Experience working in Energy including Oil & Gas is a bonus

We’re currently looking for someone that has a lot of of on-premises and cloud infrastructure experience in Azure and M365 and who can demonstrate how they have implemented on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

This is an early hire for a young, fast growing consultancy. Perhaps you work in internal IT in the oil and gas or wider energy sector but you want a new challenge in a fast paced environment working with leading edge technologies across a varied customer base.

This will be a key role in the technical and delivery teams and will guide the ongoing technology strategy and roadmap goals of our customers.

Day-to-day work will involve project delivery and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams. Technical work will include building, testing, deploying, maintaining, packaging, and explaining both on-premises infrastructure solutions and cloud solutions for our customers – built with modern tools across the open source and cloud platform landscape.

You’ll have to get stuck into the end-to-end deployment of hybrid and cloud native infrastructure solutions from automated end user device deployment using Microsoft Intune, Cisco Meraki cloud managed networking deployments, Fortigate on-premises and cloud based security appliances and server deployments both on-premises and in the cloud.

You will get the chance to have input into the designs of new customer solutions working with senior engineers and cloud architects that will help transfer their knowledge to you so you can develop these skills and progress your career. Develop technical ability across several cloud services.

Follow best practices on on-premises and cloud deployment and support.

Ensure system performance, uptime, security, and scalability of solutions.

Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud solutions infrastructure at the direction of senior and principal cloud engineers.

Troubleshoot incidents, find root cause, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.

Document all work completed to company standards and looking for continuous improvement to the processes.
