We are seeking a Digital Content & Channel Executive on a full time, permanent basis. Based in one of our facilities in Aberdeen or Norwich (however location is flexible), the Digital Content & Channel Executive plays a central role in Acteon’s Brand Communications & Production team and is responsible for producing, adapting, and publishing high-quality digital content across web, email, social and internal platforms.
Reporting to the Brand and Content Operations Manager, the role combines digital copywriting with technical publishing and channel management to deliver accurate, on-brand and engaging communications across campaign, corporate and event activities. Acting as the central coordinator for digital production workflows, the Executive manages scheduling, task coordination, and content deployment to create a consistent and seamless digital experience. The role also oversees day to day channel execution and governance, ensuring publishing continuity, compliance with standards, and timely escalation of high risk or corporate-level content for managerial review.
Duties & Main Responsibilities Digital Content Execution
• Write, review, and adapt channel ready digital content outputs across (web, email, social media, PR and media, and internal channels), ensuring clarity, tone of voice alignment, and brand consistency.
• Build and activate content across CMS, Hub Spot and internal platforms, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and timely delivery across campaigns, corporate initiatives, and events.
• Build simple Hub Spot email workflows (e.g. form follow-ups, event confirmations, or basic nurture sequences) using approved templates provided by the Marketing Technology & Digital Experience team.
• Ensure all content meets SEO, accessibility, tagging and metadata standards, using on page recommendations/governance from the Marketing Technology & Performance Analyst to improve discoverability and performance.
• Work with the Marketing Technology & Performance Analyst to understand and interpret SEO and performance insights, applying required improvements to existing content and identifying opportunities for new or enhanced digital content.
• Collaborate with Marketing Campaign Leads and Brand and Content Operations Manager, to ensure messaging is accurate and aligns with audience expectations, business priorities, and brand governance protocols.
• Conduct routine website hygiene checks, including link integrity, outdated content, accessibility compliance, and metadata accuracy.
• Prepare basic social and web performance summaries and apply tactical optimisations under guidance from the Manager and the Marketing Technology & Performance Analyst.
Workflow Ownership & Coordination
• Own the digital publishing calendar, scheduling content, resolving conflicts between campaigns, corporate updates, events and PR and media activity, and coordinating timing with stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end production workflows for digital outputs, including scheduling, task coordination, and progress tracking.
• Work closely with the Creative Designer & Digital Marketing Officer to plan creative and digital outputs, ensuring smooth delivery. Provide mutual support during peak periods to maintain continuity.
