Information Officer - ABS

Job Description

The Health and Social Care Information Team are seeking an Information Officer, on a permanent basis, to support delivery of our internal and statutory data reporting. This role will extract data from the social care system, design and develop user-friendly reports and interactive dashboards to support self-service analysis.

The successful candidate will have experience using Power BI, including importing data, carrying out advanced data transformations, writing DAX formulas, and building reports with interactive visuals and drill-through functionality.

Experience with MS Fabric, SQL, R or Python for data preparation and modelling is desirable.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

It is important to note that the team regularly meets in the office and, therefore, the ability to be on site once a week may be necessary.
