About the Role

Venatu Reruitment are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Claims & Broker Executive to join our client as part of a planned succession. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a portfolio and play a key role in ensuring clients continue to receive a high standard of service.

This is a varied, all-rounder position combining both claims handling and broking responsibilities, offering exposure to a wide range of insurance products, including specialist areas.

You will also play an important role within the team, supporting the development of a junior colleague and helping to maintain the collaborative, supportive culture of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of insurance claims from notification through to settlement
• Handle broking activities including renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and client servicing
• Support clients across a diverse insurance portfolio, including specialist risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and stakeholders
• Provide guidance and mentorship to a junior team member
• Ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met

About You

We are looking for a well‑rounded insurance professional who:

• Ideally at least 4 years’ experience in a claims and/or broking role
• Has worked in a similar environment, ideally within a small to mid‑sized brokerage
• Has exposure to both claims handling and broking responsibilities
• Is confident managing their own workload and client relationships
• Has the ability to support and mentor junior colleagues
• Is professional, proactive, and client‑focused
