Storekeeper – Aberdeen
Salary: The Band 3 salary scale is £29,103 to £31,409 per annum for full-time hours – the salary will be adjusted on a pro‑rate basis to reflect the contracted part‑time hours.
Hours: This is a part‑time post at 19.2 hours per week.
Contract: 2‑year fixed‑term contract / secondment position. PSD Scotland reserves the right to refuse appointment to individuals with continuous service within the NHS applying for fixed‑term roles.
About The OrganisationPublic Services Delivery Scotland (PSDS) unites expertise from NES and NSS to support the renewal and long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland. The Procurement department, within the Strategic Business Unit of the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS), provides store support services to SNBTS operations and distributes finished plasma products to NHS pharmacies.
The PostWe are seeking a Storekeeper to join the team at the Aberdeen Donor Centre at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Forresterhill site. The role is the sole onsite storekeeper providing high‑quality store keeping services to the SNBTS Aberdeen Donor Centre.
- Receipting, picking and issuing of stock
- Conducting stock checks
- Filling out documentation accurately and timely
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Using the electronic stock management system
- Keeping the warehouse and associated areas clean and tidy
Ideal candidates are reliable team players, motivated and able to work well independently.
Relevant experience ideally within a store keeping/warehouse department of a multi‑functional organisation is required.
Location and Working PatternLocation:
Aberdeen Donor Centre at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Forresterhill.
Work pattern:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00 Monday‑Thursday, 10:00 to 13:12 Friday (total 19.2 hours).
