Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the TAR Onshore Materials Controller will act as the single point of contact for all TAR material requirements, ensuring the timely planning, coordination, tracking and delivery of materials. Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Warehouse teams, you will help ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support safe and efficient TAR execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Focal Point for client TARS, being main contact for all material enquiries. This includes on and offshore personnel.
- Support material call offs using ERP system.
- IMOM comments
- Support hotshots Inc. Airfreight call offs and complete authorisation on Kabal.
- Material requirements / availability for TAR maintenance orders (as above point on IMOM)
- Support Logistics for any asset and material queries including late shipping requests.
- Attend meetings for Asset TARS.
- Control and manage asset TAR trackers - timely and accurate updates.
- Provide material guidance, process solutions, create OBDs and Vendor calls offs.
- Support Asset visits to warehouse or vendor locations as and when required.
- Travel offshore to site and backload TAR materials - including ad hoc visits if required.
- Manage and control TAR rental equipment.
- Deliver TAR materials offshore – right materials, right place, on time.
- Work with expediting to ensure on time delivery of TAR materials.
- Manage risk Identification - material gaps and long leads.
- Monitor and challenge costs.
- Reporting post TAR on lessons learned and successes.
- Support warehouse with bagging/tagging and labelling.
- Previous materials management and extensive warehouse operations experience.
- Supply chain and logistics knowledge.
- Understanding of HSSEQ legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Practical experience with SAP warehouse transactions, processes, data entry, and reporting.
- General knowledge of oil production spares.
- Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Solutions-focused, motivated, and committed to delivering high standards of performance and customer support.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Logistics/Materials Management Qualification (e.g. SVQ3 Logistics Operations Management, CILT)
- Offshore experience in logistics/materials management.
- Experience working in office environment / client sites.
