Aberdeen Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Job Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a background in international freight forwarding and customs? Our client is a well-established global logistics provider looking to expand its operations team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced business where you'll manage multimodal shipments, ensure customs compliance, and work closely with customers and transport partners across the globe.

The Role As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the movement of international freight from origin through to final delivery. You'll coordinate shipments across air, sea and road, prepare customs documentation, and ensure all freight movements comply with UK and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate international shipments across air, sea and road freight. Arrange transport with carriers and freight partners to ensure timely deliveries. Prepare import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping paperwork. Complete customs entries and ensure all shipments comply with HMRC regulations and international customs requirements. Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.

Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, transport providers and customs authorities to ensure the smooth movement of cargo. Manage client customs records where required. Keep up to date with HMRC legislation, Incoterms and customs commodity codes. Ensure all activities are completed in line with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety policies. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
At least 2 years' experience within freight forwarding, logistics, customs, imports or exports. Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures and HMRC regulations. Experience handling international shipments across air, sea and road freight. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
