An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing international supply chain and freight operation in Aberdeen.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll coordinate global shipments, manage customs processes, and ensure goods move efficiently across air, sea, and road networks. If you enjoy problem-solving, building relationships, and taking ownership of logistics operations from start to finish, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Role

As Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods worldwide while maintaining compliance with customs and shipping regulations. You'll liaise with clients, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, sea, and road freight channels.
  • Prepare and process import/export documentation, commercial invoices, and shipping paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC and customs regulations.
  • Liaise with carriers, and customs authorities.
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate logistics and customs records.
  • Provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • At least 2 years' experience within logistics, freight forwarding, customs, import/export, or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong customs knowledge and understanding of international shipping processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-moving environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
