The Role

As a Project Coordinator / Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring cargo is delivered safely, compliantly, and on schedule.

Working closely with customers, suppliers, freight partners, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering successful logistics solutions across a broad range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue quotations for domestic and international freight shipments.
Coordinate air, sea, and road freight movements worldwide.
Arrange cargo collections, transportation, consolidation, and delivery.
Monitor and track shipments, ensuring goods arrive in line with project schedules and customer requirements.
Manage customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with all import and export regulations.
Maintain accurate shipment records, documentation, and electronic files.
Liaise with global offices, suppliers, carriers, and customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Update internal systems with shipment tracking, costing, and operational information.
Resolve logistical challenges and provide proactive communication to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.

About You

We would like to hear from candidates with experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, shipping, transportation, import/export, or supply chain operations.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, project coordination, or supply chain operations.
Understanding of international freight movements and customs procedures.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
