As part of our Materials team within our Large Engine Business, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating subcontracted materials from order placement through to delivery. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, they will help ensure materials are delivered on time, within budget, and to the standards our customers expect.

- Keeping in regular contact with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure deliveries stay on schedule.
- Tracking orders, managing priorities and resolving issues before they impact projects.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing, supplier and delivery information across internal systems.
- Sourcing materials and services, obtaining quotations and supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Providing clear updates on delivery schedules, risks and supplier performance to key stakeholders.
- Analysing supplier performance, spend and turnaround times to identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinating import/export activities and supporting the smooth movement of components globally.
- Working closely with Engineering, Projects, Inspection and Operations teams to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
- Experience in materials, purchasing, supply chain or subcontract coordination.
- Strong understanding of supplier management and order tracking.
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, Maximo or similar.
- Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office to manage data and reports.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and repair processes would be advantageous.
