Workshop Tool Technician

Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Tool Technician to join the Archer Oiltools team.

The successful candidate will assemble, service and maintain Oiltools equipment in the workshop.

You will be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen
. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis
.

• Perform assembly, service, and maintenance of Archer Oiltools product portfolio, according to manuals and procedures.
• Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures.
• Preparation of offshore checklists for tools.
• Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of the workshop area.
• Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities.
• Safe and proactive behaviour, active use of 4-point-check, toolbox talk, interventions, and proactive reporting.

• Mechanical qualification/apprenticeship essential.
• Must have experience in a similar hands-on mechanical role.
• Good IT skills. Must be able to independently operate windows software.
• Experience with torquing equipment preferred, but not essential.
• Experience with overhead cranes preferred, but not essential.
• Pressure testing experience preferred, but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
