Service Engineer Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic to ensure the safety of passengers by safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units.

• Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating findings to the field manager.
• Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
• React to sudden breakdowns, working with passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
• Perform minor repairs.

• Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
• Hold a drivers license.
• Have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Be a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• Be comfortable communicating to others.
• Be curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
