Interim Principal Estates Surveyor
You will play a key role in delivering professional estate management services, including landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions and disposals. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help maximise income, ensure statutory compliance, and support strategic asset management objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied commercial and operational property portfolio
- Lead on lease negotiations, rent reviews and renewals
- Support acquisitions/disposals
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice to senior officers and members
- Ensure best value and compliance with relevant legislation
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong background in local authority or public sector estates management
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in an interim capacity
