Workshop Supervisor

Do you have experience within a HGV workshop environment? Have you managed teams previously?

We are recruiting for a Shift Supervisor to join our team in Aberdeen on a full‑time permanent basis working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

In this role you will supervise and work as part of the team of technicians and apprentices, ensuring job cards are processed in a timely manner and work is completed to the required standards. You will oversee and ensure that all MAN processes are followed correctly and all health and safety rules are adhered to. This role is a key link between the managers and the wider team, acting as the main point of contact for customers where required.

You will also assist with planning and relevant training and development for the workshop staff, ensuring good communication and information flow between the front desk and service staff.

In order to perform this role effectively, you will ideally have a clean HGV/LGV licence, though this is not essential. You should have worked in the transport industry and ideally have a knowledge of a working service workshop. Managing teams on multiple shifts to ensure the smooth running of the branch is essential.
