Retail & Store Manager, Operations Manager
As an ambassador for Guerlain at Boots Bon Accord Centre, you embody and transmit Guerlain's values to customers and employees. Reporting to your Line Manager, you will plan and manage the achievement of sales objectives, ensure excellent customer service, and implement the strategy set by Management. You will also manage and develop your team, placing customer relationship and experience at the heart of all actions.
Salesand Customer Service
- Develop a unique customer experience and impeccable service by setting an example for your teams.
- Apply and enforce Guerlain's unique sales method.
- Recruit, develop, and retain customers.
- Monitor and manage retail performance KPIs (qualitative & quantitative).
- Ensure quality of service on the floor, manage customer relationships, disputes, and complaints efficiently.
- Implement Guerlain's commercial policy and ensure objectives are met.
- Contribute to the construction and achievement of P&L objectives (respect budgets and commitments).
- Analyze and share KPI data and manage reporting.
- Drive the development of action plans, challenges, and partnerships according to priorities and results.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and integration of new employees in accordance with Guerlain's values.
- Foster a climate of trust through briefings and team meetings, instilling positive energy and well-being.
- Define objectives, evaluate performance, and identify training needs.
- Coaching and training to continuously develop team skills and celebrate victories.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and operating rules in the point of sale.
- Handle disciplinary measures in collaboration with HR.
- Supervise administrative management of the team: schedules, payroll, bonuses, training, interim, vouchers, uniforms.
- Oversee maintenance of cleaning, linen, supplies, and suppliers.
- Manage risk: physical security, cash management, inventory control.
- Maintain the image of the counter: merchandising, cleanliness, organization, and grooming of the team.
- Participate in merchandising implementation with support teams.
Hard skills: Customer service intuition, strong interpersonal skills, sales orientation, organizational capacity, commercial sensitivity, sense of service in a luxury environment, proficiency with Office Pack, knowledge of business management applications.
Soft skills: Leadership and coaching ability, managerial courage, dynamism and empathy, autonomy, proposal power, exemplary adherence to procedures, confidentiality respect.
