We’re working with a respected, family‑owned hire business to recruit an experienced Depot Manager for their busy Aberdeen depot
. This is a standout opportunity for a driven operational leader who excels in developing teams, improving performance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
You’ll take full ownership of the Aberdeen depot, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. Expect a hands‑on leadership role with a strong focus on people management, operational control, customer relationships, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and develop the Aberdeen depot team
- Oversee daily operations, cost control, and compliance
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure service excellence
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and financial performance
- Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support talent development and succession planning
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional objectives
- Leadership/management experience in plant hire, construction, logistics, engineering
