We are hiring for Laboratory Technician to join our UK Operations offshore team on Catcher FPSO. This role will report to the Operations Superintendent.

• Perform sampling and analysis of crude oil, produced and injected water, cargo, relevant utility liquids and gases as per ASTM standards
• Operate and monitor chemical injection systems in conjunction with the Operations Technicians
• Ensure there is a sufficient stock of laboratory consumables
• Prepare the daily lab report and maintain appropriate documentation
• Maintain a good working environment in all working areas and ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions
• Use IFS Maintenance Management System to generate work orders, update records etc
• Use the Permit To Work system, prepare permits. Adhere to Permit To Work requirements
• Undertake training both on and offshore relevant to the position
• Participate in the emergency preparedness drills, the safety meetings, and on the job training
• Assist in any other work as directed by Department Head

• Qualified as a Production Chemist is essential
• Ideally 2 years’ experience on an offshore process plant or 3 years’ experience in an onshore process plant in a similar role
• Offshore UK and FPSO experience is desirable
• Previous work in a multinational environment is desirable
