Job Overview

Flambeau Europe is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Moulding Operator to join our team in Ramsgate, Kent. The role involves operating moulding machines according to specific Work Instructions, along with finishing, assembling and packing moulded plastic components to meet our high-quality standards.

• Operate moulding machines correctly and safely, maintaining costed and set cycle times.
• Monitor production output to ensure all components meet required quality standards.
• Pack components using the correct packaging materials, ensuring accurate labelling.
• Use knives, grinders, and secondary operation equipment safely and correctly.
• Accurately record production information and maintain documentation.
• Follow proper start-up and shut-down procedures for machines.
• Assist in the training and development of other operators.
• Collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
• Observe all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with 5S housekeeping standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure smooth and effective handovers between shifts.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned.

Competitive Starting Salary
: £23,809.50 per annum

Night Shift Allowance
:
Additional £1,345.50 per annum (where applicable)

Full-Time Hours
: 37.5 paid hours per week

Annual Leave
: 22 days of annual leave, plus all bank holidays

Permanent Night Shift: 10pm to 6am Sunday to Friday.

Day Shift (weekly rotation):
Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm.

Ramsgate, Kent – a 11,000 sqm manufacturing site with 16 injection moulding machines (60 to 1,700 tons) and 11 blow moulding machines (10 to 200 litres).
