Production Planner​/Scheduler

Job Overview

Weatherford has a great opportunity for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join the team in Altens, Aberdeen.

The Planner/Scheduler will prepare production schedules and establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.

• Date manage new orders as per procedure.
• Workshop scheduling for load and capacity production plans.
• Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings.
• Raise work order, communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed.
• Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily.
• Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items as well.
• Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manage.

• 1-3 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
• College degree in business or technical discipline.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
