We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Tooling team in Aberdeen. This is a hands-on role where you will set, programme and operate CNC equipment, machine steel components and rubber elements, interpret engineering drawings, use CAD/CAM software and contribute to accurate, safe and efficient production.

Why join Rubberatkins?

At Rubberatkins, our people work side-by-side with customers and colleagues to deliver high-performing products, outstanding service and solutions that make a difference. What you will be doing
  • Set up, programme and operate CNC machines to manufacture accurate components to specification.
  • Use CAD/CAM software to support programming, dimension drawings and interpret manufacturing requirements.
  • Machine steel components and rubber elements, including fitting PCDs and straps, final tooling assembly and outgoing quality checks.
  • Use precision measuring equipment to confirm accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain safe working practices, good housekeeping and adherence to Rubberatkins procedures, quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, machining processes and working methods.

This is a shift-based role, working on a weekly rotating three-shift pattern covering 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am.

What we are looking for

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, accountable and improvement-focused mindset.
What we offer

  • Onsite parking.
  • Growth opportunities.
  • Employee Assistance Programme, GP24 online GP service and discounted gym memberships.
  • Relocation package available, subject to terms and conditions.
