Production Operator; Stores

• The Production Operator (Stores) supports efficient production operations by receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials.
• The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring materials are available to support production schedules.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and report discrepancies relating to quantity, quality, certification, or delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and investigate stock variances.
• Manage minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production and timely dispatch of completed jobs.
• Pick, issue, and prepare materials from production requirements and packing lists to support assembly activities.
• Expedite outstanding purchase orders and follow up on overdue deliveries with suppliers.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient stores environment, including loading and unloading materials as required.

• Good standard of education (required).
• Previous stores or stock management experience (required).
• Forklift truck experience (preferred but not essential).
• Computer literate.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills.
