Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust (AFCCT) is the independent partner charity of Aberdeen Football Club and, together with the ‘hook’ of football, utilises the Club’s high profile, brand and connections to enhance the delivery of the trust’s charitable objectives to benefit local communities and positively influence others.

We have a vacancy for a Family Support Coach as part of our nationwide ‘Centre Circle’ partnership.

Reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Team Lead Team Lead, you will provide high-quality, relationship-based support to children, young people and families experiencing poverty, disadvantage, isolation, or other challenges.

You will manage a caseload of families, providing strengths-based, whole-family support that helps individuals identify their goals, build resilience, improve wellbeing, access appropriate services, and achieve positive outcomes.

The Family Support Coach will represent AFCCT, using the power of football and community engagement to support families and strengthen local communities across Aberdeen City / Aberdeenshire. This is not a football coaching role.

You will have experience of working directly with families, parents, carers, children, young people or communities providing one-to-one support, key-working, casework or family support.
