Senior Trusts and Grants Manager - National Office​/Hybrid

Shaftesbury, a national disability charity, is recruiting a permanent Senior Trusts and Grants Manager to grow an existing trusts and grants portfolio. The work covers writing applications, reporting on impact, managing funder relationships and identifying new projects to fund. The post is hybrid, based in London or Gateshead, and includes line management of one direct report in a medium-sized charity. • Write funding applications to trusts and grant-making bodies
• Report on the impact of funded work to funders
• Manage a pipeline of funding applications
• Manage relationships with funders
• Engage internal stakeholders at the right time
• Identify opportunities for new projects to seek funding for
• Operate strategically across the organisation
• Line manage one direct report

• Solid experience in trusts and grants
• Experience managing a funding pipeline
• Experience managing relationships with funders and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy

• Robust understanding of the trusts landscape

• Enhanced DBS or Access NI check

• Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults
