Overview

The Aberdeen Fertility Centre is currently seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Nurse to join our small expert, multidisciplinary team on a full‑time basis for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Aberdeen Fertility Centre has been established for over 30 years and prides itself on providing a uniquely personalised level of care to all patients. The Centre is situated within Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and will be moving to the new Baird Family Hospital once it opens.

Responsibilities

Cover maternity leave for 12 months.

Candidate Profile

We require outstanding interpersonal skills in a challenging and rewarding work environment while providing exceptional, quality nursing care. A background in fertility nursing and/or women’s health is highly advantageous, but previous experience in fertility nursing is not essential as training will be provided.

Qualifications

Part 1 of the NMC register.
Minimum of 3 years post registration experience in acute general nursing within the NHS.
