Job OverviewProvide specialist imaging within one of the following clinical areas: MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio‑Vascular, Neuro‑Angiography and satellite imaging departments. Justify and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high‑quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
Supervise and act as mentor to junior radiographers ensuring continuity of service.
Qualifications- Post holder must hold a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not, an application to Disclosure Scotland must be made and deemed satisfactory before starting.
- Relevant registration in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in specialist imaging areas listed above.
- Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom.
