KM- Staff Nurse

A part-time Band 5 position is available in Great Western Lodge, a forensic community rehabilitation service.

This role is suited to a registered mental health nurse with a keen interest in forensic nursing and supporting patients through the forensic service.

The service prides itself on patient‑centred care, risk assessment and management of patients with complex rehabilitation needs, fostering an active and positive environment that supports patients in their journey to recovery and wider community integration.

You will support eight men with varying needs who have transitioned through forensic services and are ready to develop independent living skills and re-enter the community following extended hospital admissions.

The successful candidate will receive support and training, including access to the New to Forensic Mental Health Education Programme.

Located in the West end of Aberdeen, the facility is within close proximity to shops, community resources, cafés, and sheltered employment and bus services.

The role is part‑time, 15 hours per week over an eight‑week period, covering day, night, and weekend rotations.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
