Nurse Director Health and Social Care Partnerships, Band 8D

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and aspiring nurse leader to undertake the role of Nurse Director for Health and Social Care Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic and professional leadership qualities to effectively lead in a system leadership context, with a demonstrable track record of creating a culture of empowerment to deliver continuous improvement and performance in an organisation which has achieved ANCC Pathway to Excellence accreditation.

The post holder will deputise for the Executive Nurse Director and will help deliver professional governance and growth, deliver strategies and effective policies which drive quality and ensure safe and effective care for the population of Grampian.

Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the Executive Nurse Director.
  • Deliver professional governance and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies and policies driving quality and safe, effective care for the Grampian population.
  • Lead system leadership initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive nursing experience covering a range of subject areas including professional practice, clinical and care governance, workforce analysis and planning, education and development, and change management.
  • Strong strategic and professional leadership skills.
  • Track record of delivering continuous improvement and performance.
  • Experience in an organisation with ANCC Pathway to Excellence accreditation (preferred).
