An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse / Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Community Team, Collieburn Outreach, on a 12-month fixed-term or secondment basis. The post involves supporting people living with dementia in the community, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, person-centred care. This post may be suitable for a newly qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse who is seeking their first post.
Essential Criteria- Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration, or due to obtain NMC registration as a newly qualified RMN.
- Interest in, or experience of, working with people living with dementia is essential.
- Experience may be within either a community or inpatient setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full, clean driving licence and access to a car suitable for work purposes.
- Ability to travel across the service area; travel expenses will be paid in line with NHS Grampian policy.
