Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Tissue Viability Nurse to join our friendly and supportive Podiatry Service.
This role is ideal for a nurse with a passion for wound care and tissue viability, who is keen to further develop specialist knowledge and skills within a multidisciplinary environment. You will play a key role in delivering evidence-based care for patients with complex wounds, working collaboratively with podiatry and wider health and social care teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise, contribute to service development, and make a meaningful difference to patient outcomes across Aberdeen City.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with complex wounds and tissue viability needs
- Provide specialist advice and support to podiatry colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the prevention and management of pressure ulcers and lower limb wounds
- Support education and training initiatives for staff, patients, and carers
- Participate in clinical audit, service improvement, and implementation of best practice guidelines
- Work collaboratively across community setting to ensure continuity of care
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with relevant post-registration experience
- Demonstrable experience or strong interest in tissue viability and wound management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A supportive and friendly working environment
