An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Band 5 registered children’s nurses (RNC) in the High Dependency Unit of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Europe’s first MAGNET designated Children’s hospital.
We are looking for motivated registered children’s nurses who have completed a new graduate nurse programme, or equivalent, and have significant relevant experience to join our enthusiastic team, if you have previous experience within a High Dependency/ Critical Care setting that would be advantageous.
HDU is a purpose built 4 bedded unit within RACH accepting patients from 0-16 years as elective or emergency admissions from all specialties.
HDU is predominantly a step up unit with strong links to Edinburgh and Glasgow Paediatric Intensive Care units.
We have 1 permanent 36 hour contract available.
