Veterinary Surgeon

We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic small animal veterinary practice on a 18 month Fixed Term Contract in Aberdeen area, Scotland.

• 18 month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave starting end of March/April 2026
• Full time working 40 hours a week including 1 in 4 Saturdays and no OOHs and no Sundays.
• Practice is a well-established and purpose-built veterinary practice and has recently undergone huge investment and an exciting new refurbishment.
• Role offers a great opportunity to pursue CPD and develop the clinical interests that inspire you.
• Join a warm, collaborative team of 5 experienced Veterinary Surgeons including a surgical certificate holder and another working towards a medicine certificate.
• Fantastic highlands location! The city of Aberdeen has a long, sandy coastline and features an oceanic climate, with cool summers and mild, rainy winters, fantastic transport links with daily UK and European flights plus direct trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness and even London King’s Cross.

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS

• Salary to £50,000.00 per annum (subject to experience)
