HSEQ Advisor

J+S Subsea is a leading subsea engineering company based in Aberdeen, delivering specialist subsea control systems and engineering solutions to clients across oil & gas, decommissioning and marine renewables.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to help maintain and strengthen our commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance across the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) management systems, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards and customer requirements. Working closely with our engineering, operations and supply chain teams, you'll play a key role in promoting a positive HSEQ culture across the business.

• Lead and continuously improve the company's HSEQ management systems.
• Manage ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
• Conduct internal, supplier and customer audits.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Support colleagues across the business with HSEQ guidance and best practice.
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

You’ll have proven HSEQ experience within the energy, engineering or manufacturing sectors, with a strong understanding of ISO management systems and UK health, safety and environmental legislation. You’ll be proactive, organised and confident working with colleagues across different departments to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards throughout the business.
