Lab Technician

STEM Recruitment is currently seeking a Contract Lab Technician to join our client's team in Aberdeen, Scotland. This role focuses on supporting laboratory operations within a PCR and molecular biology environment, with an emphasis on testing and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing PCR assays, preparing biological samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure are essential.

• Background in Molecular Biology or similar
• Previous laboratory experience is ESSENTIAL
• Ability to follow protocols and documentation accurately
• Strong organisational and communication skills
