Marcliffe is entering an exciting new chapter. As part of a multi-million-pound transformation, we are preparing to open Skylark, our stunning new brasserie, launching on 31 January. Alongside this, the hotel continues to evolve with new guest experiences, refreshed spaces and a renewed focus on exceptional hospitality.
We are now looking for enthusiastic and motivated Food & Beverage Assistants to join the opening team at Skylark, playing a key role in delivering warm, memorable service in this exciting new venue.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be part of the team bringing Skylark Brasserie to life. You will support service across the restaurant, bar and events, ensuring every guest enjoys a high-quality, welcoming and professional experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality career as part of a supportive and ambitious team during an exciting new opening.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Using our recipe for success—people, service and attention to detail—you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service during restaurant, bar and event service times
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and care
- Prepare and maintain dining areas to the highest standards before, during and after service
- Answer guest questions and provide menu guidance and recommendations
- Support event setups, service and breakdowns as required

ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
- Friendly, positive and genuinely guest-focused
- Smart in appearance with strong communication skills
- Reliable, proactive and a strong team player
- Willing to learn with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and events
- Competitive hourly rate (up to £12.50/hour)
