Farine Bakery is recruiting a chef to lead a new evening food operation as the business expands its offering in Fort William. This role suits an experienced, practical chef who enjoys building a kitchen operation and taking responsibility for quality and consistency.
The roleYou will take the lead on the evening food offer, from preparation through to service.
You will be responsible for menu execution, food quality, and maintaining kitchen standards during evening service.
You will work closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth handover between daytime and evening operations.
You will play a key role in shaping how the new nighttime operation develops in practice.
This is an evening focused role.
Hours and shift patterns will be discussed clearly at interview.
The role is based on site in Fort William.
You will have previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen.
You will be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for service.
You will have a practical, organised approach and take pride in consistent standards.
Experience helping develop or lead a new food offering is desirable but not essential.
An hourly rate of £13.50 to £16.00 depending on experience.
